Our advisory council will meet monthly during lunch and act as an advisory group to Dr. Gupta, our superintendent, and Dr. Waller, the Principal. Topics of conversation might include school dress code, curriculum, senior volunteer projects, parking issues, Freshmen Challenge, Freshmen/New Student Orientation, and other school initiatives.

Juniors: A PSAT prep course will be offered at OHS. Dates of the prep classes are Oct. 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $100, which includes the workbook. Due to space limitations, we can only accept the first 30 paid registrants. To register, please bring a check for $100, payable to Oakwood High School, to Mrs. Schalm in the book room. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a spot without payment. If you have questions, see Mr. Callon or Mrs. Villarreal. Note: The PSAT test date is Wednesday, Oct. 18.
TEDxYouth@Dayton is a locally organized official TEDx event and is open to young people ages 14 through 20, from all over the greater Miami Valley.
